The Poodle is a very intelligent breed, which is willing to learn and make his owner a happy person. However, puppies are not born with obedience skills. They need training that should never be harsh. One of the basic skills little Poodles are required to possess is coming up to the owners when being called.

Poodles are usually easy to train. They are very playful and can obtain the basic obedience skills during play. Poodles are friendly with other dogs. Therefore, breed owners can walk their dogs in a company of other dog fanciers. Though smaller breed versions are likely to bark much, they are not aggressive. Breed owners can rest assured that their Poodles will not start a fight with other dogs.
